The 500 gr. ankle weight made of two 250 grams of lead weights coated with rubber is used to decrease the bouyancy of the legs of the wet suit and to prevent the fins from floating.
 
The ergonomically designed ankle weight is fixed to the ankle with Velcro® and is kept in place with the help of the inner fluting.
